Warton Freight have been the proud organisers of hosting an annual charity Ball for the past 2 years running. This year’s ball was Halloween themed, and raised a staggering £16,237.68 bringing the total raised for SANDS (Stillbirth and neonatal death charity) in the past 2 years to £57,951.37.
The sum of £57,951.37 has been raised by a combination of events including 2 charity balls, A Ladies night, 26 mile walk, chest waxing for the men and numerous raffles.
A massive well done to Sue for organising such incredible events for such a great cause close to our hearts. And a big thank you to all our staff, friends, family and all who have donated to the cause, to help raise such amazing amounts.
Due to popular demand Sue has agreed to organise one final ball in October 2017. Another 1st of many fundraising events Sue has signed the team up for 2017, for a London to Brighton Bike ride.
